This striking Portuguese candeia is a three-wick table lamp in warm-toned brass, designed for oil/olive-oil lighting long before electrification. The rounded reservoir with lid feeds three wick burners, while the circular reflector helps project and soften the glow—ideal for creating a dramatic, candlelit ambience.
A particularly charming feature is the complete set of suspended tools on chains (snuffer/wick trimmer and other wick-maintenance implements), a practical detail that also gives the lamp its distinctive, “miniature workshop” silhouette.
