A beautifully worked Portuguese 833 silver salver, richly decorated in a Rococo Revival manner with scrolling foliage, shell motifs and raised cartouches surrounding a smooth central reserve (ideal for presentation or discreet engraving). The intricate relief work catches the light wonderfully, giving the piece real presence despite its practical size.
